Thank you very much but I have one question. I use the same qss-file you posted in your content about domino tabs in dolphin. But mine looks different.

Here is a screenshot: http://yfrog.com/2mbildschirmfoto1op

The marked areas look different to yours. I use your bespin and color scheme and also your qss-file from the domino dolphin content. How can I make it look like yours?

Best regards!

In short: you cant.

the css code on that side is only for
the tabs.

I have loaded a png as a bg that streches
over the whole main window.... ...so if
I for example change the font size of change
the font,
the bar that you see under the pathbar
will be missplaced etc, because different
fonts have different padding.

should not be necessary (but UNO is, don't check "sunken - what you now cannot do anymore when invoking the title and effectively never could)

to ensure you got the proper rev, ensure there's a function "drawTitleShadow()" in window.cpp

try setting the tab gradient to "none" (flat) and both color roles to window - this will not provide you the exact same look, but quite different from the default.

you mean because of the disaligned dockareas?
please try the latest revision, i ... tried... to address some issues.

If you want general tabbing, i reccomand to try statcking two of the docks (e.g folders/places or places/info - depends on you usecase) in a tab on the (upper) left or right area - there will still be a break across the splitter though :-(

I think there is a missunderstood... Please look at this screenshot:

http://yfrog.com/ebbildschirmfoto2fp

I hope you understand my problem. The edge from the menu-bar looks not so good in dolphin. In other apps it looks better, because there is a tab-bar below the menu-bar and then you habe this hard-edge. Any ideas how I can make it look better in dolphin? I know its a small problem and theme-based, so its not a big deal...(BTW: I love bespin. Thanks for making it better every time!)

Best regards!

just to ensure: you need to kill _all_ dolphin processes (even stuff in the bg w/o UI) in order to apply updates (it's a KUnique application, starting it will only open a new window in doubt, not launch a new proc, therefore not reload libs)

note, amarok themes does not change the
background of the toolbar (or the moodbar), just the objects
like the track progress etc. If you want
that you need one of these:

http://kde-look.org/index.php?xsortmode=high&page=0&xcontentmode=9

I'd suggest the one called "bespin" :P

I actually extracted it to ~/.kde/.. because uses .kde not .kde4 anyway I tried removing my cache and still wouldnt would. Could it be because I have moodbar enabled?

yeah, it does not change moodbar...
...moodbar is not part of the amarok
skinning system.

 Amarok layout

I'm shooting questions on every single theme you've uploaded here :D How can I get the amarok layout you have in this screenshot (context, media sources tabs in the bottom)? I've copied the qss settings you've posted above and called amarok (amarok --stylesheet /home/me/Guistuff/kde/amarok/tabs.qss) but nothing changed. Enlighten me please! ;)

Hmm, should be easy, just view -> lock
layout -> off, then just drag the docks
on top of each other :-)

Hi , is it for amarok2 ?

I'm trying with amarok --style ./amarok.qss
But it told me amarok.qss was not found , so should i put it under ~/.kde4/share/apps/amarok/somewhere ?

Thanks !

Yeah drop the svg to ~/.kde4/share/apps/amarok/images/

this path may vary depending on distribution.

then empty kde-cache

rm -r /var/tmp/kdecache-username

then start amarok again.

This file here has nothing to do with
qss, it uses the amarok internal
skinning engine.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
