+/- for touch file selection in Dolphin

Description:

In dolphin, having an option to make the +/- buttons for file selection, which currently appear on mouseover, be always present would allow for easy file selection on touchscreen devices.

Permanent button(s)/check-box for file selection would make it easier for the new user of Dolphin.

 Wrong mini icon?

The white plus sign in a green disk is generally add-new/insert. I suggest something more like a check-box.
Selection is generally represented by inverting the foreground/background colours of the object, or by drawing marching ants around the selection.
I quite liked NEXTSTEP's hand holding documents like they were playing cards.

How about an option to disable

Well, TBH, I'd prefer to not have those + and - at all :P I use Ctrl+Mouseclick to select items in Dolphin all the time and I just don't need those icons.

Settings -> Configure Dolphin... -> General -> Uncheck "Show selection marker".

This is good idea to have a option to set it as permament.

One other thing what I really wanted to get changed is where the +/- icon gets places. It is not the top left corner of icon but top left corner of selection area. What gets changed by the file name!

So you see lots of icons in nice grid, but the (un)selection icon position is not relevant to icon itself but filename width what makes it not so good...

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
