ma by can need anyone this scipt to create svg-scaled normal icons-theme.
You can create an normally icontheme, add all icons into an svg-image and
can create an scaled Icon theme without so much space for downloading and so on..
I want try by self to make it as a scaled Icontheme from my "Real time"
theme for have a smaller themefile and i hope i can save more as 100Meg space !
and, i hope it works ! ;)

edit: it works well, i have there with my
Real Time Icontheme change completely
in SVG-Scaled theme ! over 2000 png's
KDE-Developer please fix the Tree-look-
Icons/Pictures in the Systemsettings if use SVG-only theme !

The Script:

It need for working installed Inkscape !

The once problem it is, you mus ever confirmation the import of the Picture,
but it is much better as every do 3-5 different inputs before it save as..
so mus only every confirm "okey import" and it is not much by only klicking "okey"

ma by adding Inkscape an batch switch
or ma by an switch who can say

"-y say every yes"
"-b Batch (no question only works)"

how it works:

decompress, put this script into you png-folder who like to have convert
all and open an xterm or an Konsole, goto this folder and
execute it:

./png2svg.sh [enter/return]

now create it an folder "svg"
and put all, behind the question if import, on this svg folder,
so can you copy or move all the svg-icons to you theme.

ps.: you can custom you outputfolder and so on if you read the script :D

pps.: vote for this script to see the others and have ther with a good tool in hand for future and comming svg-themes :D

so, manny fun and happy Png-Creating !
best regards

tested at my own icon-theme
(create an completly SVG-Theme(Scaled icon Theme) and saves more as 100 MB Space!),
edit this Page and add informations on it..
and please Vote for it, for see other this script too

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
