natural_gentoo advanced theme

Downloads:  843
Submitted:  May 19 2010
Updated:  May 21 2010

Description:

This theme looks like original natural_gentoo theme, but I've added config for 1366x768 wide-screen laptops and icons from livecd-gentoo-2007 (converted into grayscale) on service starts.

Please email me any suggestions

Changelog:

19 may 2010 - posted version 1.0

21 may 2010 - updated to 1.1 - converted icons into grayscale and renamed into natural_gentoo_adv

you should unpack this to/etc/splash.
Next, rebuild your initrd image and correct kernel parameters to use natural_gentoo_adv theme. For example, splash=natural_gentoo_adv,silent,fadein

look at archive content, folder icons. you can add more custom icons, using icon naming rules,as described in documentation (or simple review xisting icons).

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
