Nothing...but the cogwheel is from the kde
logo and I´m using grub so hence the name "kde linux grub" :)

I have tried to use your grub-image by replacing it with one I already have. It looks ok except that I have a menu list with large text that hides the Gear image and the selection bar cannot be seen. is there any way I can change this. I couldn't find any where in Grub to change it.

You can change your grub colors by editing
your menu.lst file. Add the following lines:

foreground = 7CFC00
background = EE0000

Adjust the colors to your own taste.

I don´t have any problems with the gear image. Maybe it´s a resolution thing?

How would I go about using this? I know how to change colors in Grub but not use images.

1. Download the file

2. Create some directory to /boot/grub/
example "splashimages" and put the file there

3. Add the following line to your menu.lst file
splashimage=(hd0,2)/boot/grub/splashimages/your_image.xpm.gz

Change the partition (hd0,2) to suit your computer. You can find the correct one in
the menu.lst file

4. Save and Reboot!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
 Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
 I do not like some of the changes.
 KDE is taking the wrong way.
 I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
 I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
