 Good changes

Nice to see that someone has wanted to get more similar UI for bespin style as other themes are.

Just wanted to ask did you get the space bar fixed on dolphin? So it would not show the free space in front of the bar and used space (prgress bar) on right side?

Have you asked thomas if he would be
interested in embedding the code into
bespin so that one could select what kinda
progressbar one wants?

It could be a good thing and result in
a larger userbase :)

looks a bit like the progress for listviews (like kget) - actually there was code for 4(!) and still is for 3 progressbars in bespin (normal, listviews and the capacitybar) :D

The reason for the progress chunks is mostly to get away from the unilook >-)

progressing status indicators started as LEDs, this was resembled with chunks (bricks) in the curses/dos times and ported to win3.11 / win95
Apple introduced (rather pushed) solid progressbars to fit their aqua look and anyone (ok... including me :) started to clone them.

today, virtually all bars look like this :-(
-> me thought: i just walk back to the roots :)

You are so very right about all that!

The only problem I c with having the bespin
progressbars... is not that I don't like
the way they look, no I love it! it's different,
however I have to use a lot of gtk apps
and afaik there is no gtk theme that
would integrate with this kinda of progressbars,
same goes for the tabs also, tho I'd rather
see a gtk theme that would make this possible
it is a good option/feature imo.

I don't see any downside in having these
as configurable options tho so imo this
is a good mod of bespin :)

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
