Description:

(note: Not shown here is the description and or descriptions of each folder - see the actual Readme.txt file to see these.)

1.) untar the file to whereever u want (/home folder or /usr/share/apps/kbfx/skins/)

2.) right click the kbfx start & configure.

3.)Click on the Left Side Bar - Start Button

3.)Browse to where ever u put these images & choose a folder/startbutton style/logo you want.
or

Once u do that here is a little explanation of the .png files and which ones to choose for which section for the StartButton images.

(un-check fade effect, etc..)

Normal pick startnormal.png
for pressed pick pressed.png
for Hover choose the same as Normal.

& now click apply to apply the win2k button style/logo you chose.

Changelog:

August 7 (PST) 2008 - Outdated the small icon start button theme, Added a LinuxStart (just words) & Tux as a logo. :) Alas updated Readme to compensate for these new additions & added a screenshot.

...

Same Day July 22nd (the 23rd of july kde-look time) - I upped the icons to a bigger size ;) and added it as a seperate tar.gz so now of course the icons should look a lot better. ;)...

...

Added a plain start without any icon, + changed the kdestart to show a 1 meaning that it's the icon for the 1.x or so series of kde, added the kde 3.x or such logo, + changed the folder structure a bit, etc.. alas changed the directions. ;)

...

Quickly updated again with both a kubuntu logo and kde logo one :) - if you want ur distros logo and you don't want to do it urself, please let me know and send me an email yahoo.com@palmonezire31fanatic

^ the above email is backwards. ;)

...

Created A more realistic startbutton - the screenshots by the way don't give it justice. :) + I also updated the Readme with a quick Update message + changed name of tar.gz file.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
