Score 59%

Downloads:  7512
Submitted:  Nov 22 2006

Description:

From the creator of the Oxygen engine comes the official Vista theme! Unfortunately, a bug in Emerald causes the side border gradients to be horribly rendered.

Oh well, enjoy!

Changelog:

1.0 - Oxygen theme renamed to Vista, updated for latest Emerald.

in addition to that... look how many vista themes are overflowing the space. Almost every second beryl theme claims to look exactly like vista.

Try to do something original. Would make more sense and make a lot of people really happy.

you can do something original too, or just search the beryl themes and look that are a lot of themes already that not resembles to vista.

In my case i like the look but i dont like de windows os and terms of use, so im happy with the themes that looks like vista.

If you dont like it dont use it, but please let the people copy, enhance or create what they want, i think that is the spirit of all this.

=)

Id rather have one great vista theme, which would be used by all the vista fans, than 100, true. But for this to happen we need a theme that will satisfy everyone, which is difficult to do. In the end, we all want to have the possibility to choose between different themes.

I say good job on the Oxygen engine, and a nice looking theme too. Im more of a mac guy myself, but Ill try this out. + for you, and - to everyone who are whining about vista themes. Im not a vista fan(atic) but let the community decide what to upload.

Thanks for your support. ;)

Note that I also made the Truglass engine, which in my opinion is better than vrunner for glassy gradients.

Great Beryl theme.
But I'd like to know what GTK theme are you using.
It seems to be the Human theme with a different menubar...

It's MurrinaNeoGraphite. I just switched to KDE, and I miss my Murrine already... :( I really wish there was a way to apply Gtk themes to Qt apps.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
