Hi, could you explain a little more in detail how I can change the used sensor ?
path and filename (that lm sensors/program/file didn't tell me much...) Oh and it is a great widget !

lm sensors can monitor cpu, m/b temperatures, fan speeds, voltages etc. You can get it at lm-sensors.org
To use lm sensors with my widget:
1) open konsole and type 'sensors'
It shows available sensors and their values(for example 'CPU Temp' or 'M/B Temp')
2) copy sensor name to the dialog box

You can also use any program like hddtemp and nvclock. Just type command to the dialog. Some examples:
hddtemp -n /dev/hda
nvclock -T | grep ':' | awk '{print $4}'

There is no one big 'options' dialog.
Right click on the applet -> configure applet

looks strange, but python script doesn't work from skz file. Unpacked version works fine.

Solution: unpack .skz file to any dir and open Thermometer.theme with karamba
(skz is just a zip archive)

I'm sorry to bother you again but I've done what you suggested and it still doesn't work, no configure button...
Thanks ^_^

Hi!
I got the same problem as jpb1764... Button "configure applet" cannot be selected!
Maybe some troubles during installation?
I got the latest superkaramb through kubuntu7.04 repositories...

Hope someone can help me fix this out :-)

Thanks!

Thanks! :)
The only way (as far as I know) to run an app from konsole on kubuntu is kdesu app; no errors given... Maybe you meant something else?
Thanks again for your help :)

making it work with acpitool is the same as the example of nvclock (which didn't work for me, because nvclock gave 41C instead of 41):

acpitool | grep "zone 2" | awk '{print $6}'

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
