Description:

This is a Design for KBFX made to fit the SUSE 10.0 Design - all in Blue ;)

Some Pictures are taken from the SUSE-Package for kdm-screen, which is under GPL.

Please vote and if you don't like it, please tell me why, so I can make things better next time :)

Changelog:

0.1: Initial Release
0.2: Updated to have a flat Design for the categories. The old design is still there, just take a look at the rhs*_old.png-files.
0.3: Changed Lock-Button to same Look as Logout *shameonme* thx Nookie =)
0.3.1: Fixed wrong background-size causing Entries to be cut of.
0.3.2: Changed the box for your KDE-picture to be without geeko.
The one with geeko is still there as dudebox_geeko.png. Just rename it, if you want geeko and have no pic defined.

 Nice Idea

Hello

I quite like your design, as I'm a long time suse user.

One little point, though:

The categories seem to fall apart. Wouldn't it be nice to use a flat design with the suse-specific dotted white line at the bottom? would fit more nicely, I think. I'll download it anyway and may change it myself one day... If so, be sure that I'll upload it.

If you change it yourself and it looks nice, add some more screenshots, I may add a review on kbfx.org

Greetings

PS: did you use our theme howto on kbfx.org?

Yeah, would be an idea. I'll try this for sure and see how it looks. Thanks for your feedback.

Well, sort of. ;)
I got the eps on which the tutorial is based on a day earlier on IRC.

Thank you for adding this. I will install it for my Suse Box. If you agree, I will write a short review of it in the news section of KBFX.org. It would be nice, if you could post me some thoughts that inspired you doing this theme.

Yeah, for sure you can write a review on this :)

What drove me to do this? hm, well...

I did have some spare time, and I don't like the look of the original K-Menu, so I wanted to have a simple design, that fits to the original SUSE-Login-Screen for kdm.

:)

Sorry, but I found a problem in your design. Just installed it and saw, that the lower right area of menu elements doesn't display.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
