Compliments, with your customization dolphin looks 10 times better!
This should be one of the default looks of the whole desktop!!
Keep more of those coming, and I'm sure kde-artists will get in touch with you ;-)

Very nice looking... Hey maybe you can get some ideas from here (http://gnome-look.org/content/preview.php?preview=1&id=97700&file1=97700-1.jpg&file2=&file3=&name=elementary+Gnome+revisited) and incorporate them into you current design.

Suggestions:
There should be a breadcrumb. I use it more often than the back-forward arrows. I would also love to have search field.. With regards to the view options, I think they should be merged into a drop-down list like how Nautilus implements them. That way, things won't look cluttered as the current Dolphin.

There was lots of ideas of Dolphin for KDE4 when it was under heavy development and year before it even got 4.0 out.

The problem was usability and features what is reason for current Dolphin structure.

Those sidepanels should be possible to move around and not forced to one style.

And this mockup seems to work well on few files, but place there hundered of files, folders, links etc and you get bretty blown up UI where this does not seem to fit at all.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
