Collection of 4 modified superkaramba themes in a common style with a matching wallpaper.

SpiffiBar: Heavily modified Plasticbar and DynBar. It is now a taskbar complete with desktop switcher, icons, clock, and a quickbrowser with XMMS functions

SpiffiSysmon: Modified Cynapses which displays some important system information

SpiffiWeather: Only sparsely modified Liquid Weather ++, it was already a great theme, which just needed some layout modding to fit in my collection.

SpiffiLyrics: Quite heavily modified XMMSLyrics theme which displays the lyrics of the currently playing xmms track. It features a scrollbar.

Wallpaper is modified from "La fille qui hume le vent" from deviantart.com

Dynbar: (I believe this is not the original, but it looks a lot like it)
Original Plasticbar:
Original Cynapses:
Original Liquid Weather ++:
Original xmmslyrics:

This is great but the spiff bar does not seem to come up for me in kde 3.3. The sysmon works well.

Oh look honey they've all gone gaga over googoo for 3.3, isn't that cute.

Maybe deleting the rc files will help, they can make the themes show up at the corner of your screen, where you can't see them, if your screen resolution is lower than mine (1280x1024).
You will also have to modify some settings (especially paths) in SpiffiBar.py

In the SpiffiSymon.theme replace all "eth0" with "ppp0". For the temps and fans you should have lm-sensors working. A bit of googling should show you how to.

I would like a "amaroKlyrics", since it is the greatest player ever.
Anyony know how? I'm not very good at scripting or whatever you have to to ;)

 SpiffiWeather howto?

Hi, I'm trying to get the spiffiweather thing to work but without any luck so far. I tried to enter my city's name and even looked up the code at weather.com but it still doesn't work. Can anybody explain to me how I can get a working weather forecast for Brussels, Belgium. Or maybe send me a working copy of such a file for this city?
Thanks in advance and ... I love this theme.

Upon trying to launch the spiffbar, nothing happens, and theres this little box on the screen showing nothing (blank superkaramba app), I'm assuming it's because I can't run in 1280x, Please tell me someone out there has got this to work for 1024x768?, or if that's not the problem, how can I fix this?!? , by the way, I really like it, I just cant get it to work :o(

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
