Description:

Have icons on the desktop, and system folder display extra information about the device. Such as the amount of diskspace being used, or battery life left on your iPod. Also if you burning a CD-R you can have the CD-Rom icon display how far it is into burning threw DCOPing k3b.

Thanks to the artist who made the icon I used.

Changelog:

Added idea of what it would look like, and also think there should be an option in the veiw menu to turn the bar on, and off. For those who don't like it.

Actually, it's more a BeOS thing. Inspiration comes from everywhere, not just from the usual suspects! ;)

say it could be done by icon shading/(de)saturation, the amount of the icon that is coloured representing the amount the device is full.

But when the device is full it's just look like a normal fully-colored icon... That is good for say burning, but when you want to see disk status that way it's confusing...

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
