 transparency

by warrob on: Sep 23 2009

It seems that transparency level is not mantained by this applet. If you load a png image with a completely transparent background the applet will add some opacity itself. Why?

If I add transparent png all I can see is applet background.

I realized that the background depends on the desktop theme style. For example if you choose "oxygen" you will have no transparency at all, but a black background; with "elegance" (my choice) you have only partial transparency.
Probably you are using a style that allows total transparency?

Is it possible to bypass the theme style so that the script behaves in the same way with all the themes?

 Error having 2 of them

by anderslund on: Nov 17 2009

Hi, I have two scripted image applets, and whenever i log out and back in, the second one comes up blank.

I have to remove it, add it again and configure it.

 Connection issue

by LordKhain on: Jan 26 2010

Hi,

this is really a great plasmoid, simple and effective!

Unfortunately it seems to be affected to an analogous bug:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199224

when I add the plugin and connect I can download the img, but if I leave the plugin connected and reboot the pc it won't work anymore unless I remove and re-add it.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

I am on Kubuntu Karmic with KDE 4.3.

Thanks, best regards
LordKhain
