Description:

I like the professional look of "Lineart" so I went into gimp and made my own "pro looking" paper. This is not svg (but I guess It could easily have been). If anyone is interested, I have the original .xcf with all my paths and layers for tweaking. This is an easy wallpaper to pull off anyway so I'm sure anyone can make their own "Pro Looking" wall. Simplicity is the key---too much detail gives people a headache using the computer :)

Changelog:

I finnaly have released the xcf source files after receiving an email from Thomas Jollans. Thanks for reminding me ;)

Note: the sources say "GNU/Linux" and not "KDE". Since everyone here probably has Gimp---just change it to whatever you want it to say. Also the color is slightly different in the xcf. I lost the final version I did before I submitted. Sorry! Just make it whatever color you want. The one SymphonyOS used made it a little more blue and I liked it much.

 Nice Style!

Very nice style, it just gave me the idea of styling the whole KDE more 'professional', the way your KDE toolbars look are really nice.

Great!

Thank you for your comment. As KDE progresses (rapidly I should say) it is looking more and more "professional". I only hope the trend continues until Apple will be salivating ;)

Very nice wallpaper, indeed! Could you provide the xcf, so we can all modify it to our liking? (for example to get rid of the text, put different text, use different colors)

Yes yes, share the xcf so I can change 'KDE 3.4' to 'KDE 3.5' ^_^
Very good wallpaper, thanks :)

Another request to release the XCF so we can change the 3.4 to 3.5

Thanks!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
