Description:

Wallpaper "Penguins. All together now."
This Penguin is the Logo from the german linux-community "Penguins". (see http://www.linuxlog.de)

You may download a *.tar-file with two files in it:
1. the complete wallpaper as png-file
2. only the area in the middle als a png-file with transparency. You can set these on the background you want.

Enjoy!

UPDATE 16.Oct 04: now the "area in the middle" is only the penguins as png with transparency. without border. you can put this on any background you want in any screen-resolution! :-)

Which other distribution did you "dump" for the slack-logo? ;) And to which distribution does the orange logo in the first row belong?

As I wrote, I kicked out the BSD logo, which isn't a linux distribution!

And the logo in the front is the logo of my favorite distsribution: ubuntu linux! This is the freedom of the artist! ;-)

Please look at ubuntulinux.org to learn more about it!

Thanx for the information. I don't mean to bother you but I cannot see where you wrote about replacing a freebsd logo before.

erm, do you happen to have it without the burning fuse... ie normal heads without the stubby cylinder and fuse.

Well - as Suzan wrote it the "exploding" penguin is a logo - and I think a very cute one :) BTW: The most used icon for "kernel affairs" is the bomb.

I think it is cute too. Can you make a 1600x1200 version? Pretty please?

 The bombs...

I know what they mean, but nevertheless looking at these penguins whose heads seem to explode at any moment is somewhat disturbing.

Otherwise, great job!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
