An other feeling for the desktop. May be, not everybody will like it, but I am happy about a return.

The archiv contains:
- a desktop theme for KThememanager
- an icon set
- a splash screen theme
- a color schema for Konsole
- a style for K3b (v0.9 and v2.0)
- a few (Super-) Karamba themes

Additional content for KDE 3.4/3.5:
- a logout picture
- an about view for Konqueror
- an intro view for KControl

Install: Download an unpack the file and have a look at the README. A more detailed install instruction you may find on my homepage.

12/20/06 Add a new style for current K3b version and new icons.

11/03/06 Next icon update. More than 30 icons were added.

10/30/06 Small icon update. 20 new icons added.

03/20/06 Add more icons and a karamba theme for amarok control.

Source(all the art stuff)
Source(only the icon set)
Source(only the desktop theme)
Source(only the Karamba themes)
Source(only the splash screen)
Source(only the add-ons for KDE 3.4)
Source(only the K3b style)

Very nice idea, I was in the mood for changing my KDE appearance...and you made my day! Excellent! May I suggest a few things to the artist? I would like to see a shadow under the icons, it would make them "on top" of the painting.

Do you have other paintings, for the other desktops?

Some icons are missing, and Firefox and Konqueror share the same. Any way to help the artist to produce more icons?

Your work gave me the idea to have a PREHISTORIC kde, cavern like, with Lascault PAinting, dinosaur icons, cuneiform fonts, etc...

Then we could have a Historic KDE contest, like Egyptian KDE, Roman, Gothic, etc...would be nice and fun, and a bit educative, no?

Staying in the artistic style of yours, we could have different styles of painting apply, impresionist, cubic, renaissance, roccoco, all to the glory of art!

Beautiful, I enjoyed your work!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
