A theme to track packages from your desktop.

This theme requires wxPython in order to use.

What It Does
This theme allows you to enter up to 5 packages at a time, to be tracked right from your desktop. The theme updates once an hour and refreshes with the lastest information on your package including:
-Expected Delivery Date
-Package Name
-Current Location
-Latest Details

Currently it supports FedEx, UPS, and USPS.

How To Use It:
Via the right click menu choose Configure Theme -> Configure Package_Tracker. You will get a GUI configuration window allowing you to enter packages and edit/delete existing ones. After adding your packages and clicking ok, it may take several seconds for the theme to load with the results.

The theme icon came from kde-look user manowarlord's Crystal Diamond Icons.

Initial Release

Cleaned up code for my sake
Made sure that the status was split onto a new line if it was too long to fit.

After a package was delivered "No data" would show up. Fixed this to tell you the package was delivered and at what date/time it was delivered.

Added support for UPS.

After a package was delivered via UPS, no data would show up and would break the theme. Fixed this to tell you the package was delivered and the date/time of the delivery.

Added support for tracking packages via USPS.

Bug fix, if UPS package info wasn't available yet on the website an error would occur.

Bug fix, during an update for UPS a regular expression failed when getting the time if the hour was 2 digits. This would result in an abort of the updated information.

Apparently a fix I made several revisions ago broke Fed Ex Package Tracking completely.

When a package was first scanned via USPS, not all information was availible resulting in "no data found". Fixed it to tell you the package was scanned.

Fixed a bug where if a package from UPS had a rescheduled delivery date, no information would show.

Bug Fix.

Broke Fedex support on 0.9.7.

 Only one package

I currently have 4 packages from UPS entered into it, but it only gives results for one of them, the other three just show blank info, nothing at all.

I double checked all the numbers I have entered into it and they are correct.

I love this little superkaramba widget, but would prefer if it worked for more then one package at a time.

That's interesting, I can't say I've ever had more than 1 ups package, but I know it's worked for fedex packages(having 4 at a time). Could you do me a favor and run superkaramba from the Konsole, simply by typing superkaramba and hitting enter. Then starting Package Tracker, then right click and choose update. Then if you could email the output from the Konsole, I am positive I could fix it. My email is aaronjg at gmail dot com. Thanks in advance.

 It took a day

It took a full day, and then just started working.

I don't know why.

The packages were listed at the UPS site the day before but it wouldn't get the data until the following day.

Anyways, it is working now.

Yes, I don't profess to be a great designer. If you unzip the .skz that is downloaded you will see the bg img, and on/off states of the 5 buttons, and the 4 headings(Current Location, Details, etc). These are the files that would need to be altered. Shouldn't be too hard for someone who is good at designing.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
