This is a little Karamba system monitor based on the "unix" monitor.
I've changed a lot of it, and added some custom scripts for monitoring the CPU and a wireless interface.

!!!!!!!! HEY LOOK !!!!!!!!

The Nix Monitor just got easier to install and use!

Version 0.6 and up includes a configurator script that allows you to easily edit the theme file to your taste.

The new configurator requires zenity, but that's a pretty common component.

To use it, just untar the file wherever you plan to keep it, then run nix.configure.sh and follow the prompts.

If you want to make changes to the wallpapers, or
make your own, look in the "images/wallpapers/source/"
directory for an xcf.

Thanks to Darryl Pierce for the batstat.sh script.
It's rolled into Nix since 0.5, but is not on by
default. Make sure you have acpi installed if you want to use it. (The configurator will check for you!)

Enjoy, and click the "good" if you like it!

Current CPU Icons:
Intel - Centrino Duo, Centrino Pro, Core 2 Duo Extreme, Core 2 Duo, Generic, Pentium 3 M, Pentium 4 Hyper-Threading, Pentium 4 M, Pentium 4, viiv, Xeon Generic, Xeon
AMD - Athlon 64 Mobile, Athlon 64, Athlon 64 X2, Opteron 64, Sempron Mobile, Sempron, Turion 64 Mobile

+++ Other Nix Items +++

Nix Monitor (System Monitor)

Nix Site Monitor (Website Monitor)

NixRok (Amarok Controller)

Too many changes now, please read the CHANGELOG file for the full change history.

- Minor fixes to configurator script.
- Boat loads of CPU icons!
Intel: Centrino Duo, Centrino Pro, Core 2 Duo Extreme, Core 2 Duo, Generic, Pentium 3 M, Pentium 4 Hyper-Threading, Pentium 4 M, Pentium 4, viiv, Xeon Generic, Xeon
AMD: Athlon 64 Mobile, Athlon 64, Athlon 64 X2, Opteron 64, Sempron Mobile, Sempron, Turion 64 Mobile

Sure thing, I'll roll that into 0.5, should be sometime in the next day or so.

Just wondering if you could add a AMD Semphron64 icon. I'm planning to try this script out soon looks great from the shots.

I added some Sempron icons, you can use the configurator to load them, but I couldn't find a "Sempron 64" logo. If you know where I can get one, I'll iconify it and roll it in :)

Looking at my sticker it seems that even though the processor is x64 the sticker just says Sempron. So I guess that was my mistake. Thanks for the update though this theme is great.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
