More mouse action triggers in Kwin effec

My idea is to make Kwin effects more configurable by letting a user choose a shortcut to an action which would not only consist of keyboard buttons, but also mouse wheel movements and mouse buttons - currently the main use of the mouse when it comes to Kwin composite effects is the \\\'desktop edge\\\' option, but it is still very insufficient - Compiz lets to configure an effect in much more efficient and user-friendly way.

e.g. I\\\'d like to move to next desktop by using Alt+Mouse Up, and to previous by Alt+Mouse Down. Or move a window with just one mouse button - I\\\'ve got a mouse with two additional thumb buttons, and they are so configured in Compiz that one moves a window, and the second one resizes it. Implementing such possibility in Kwin would be fantastic!

yes! I was thinking about that a few weeks ago, but you were first. anyway, my idea is about plasma. For example middel click on mouse would activate the dashboard, etc.

Yeah, I'm missing something like this also.

I was suprised to see that kde didn't have
that option, well, kwin's compositing is very new and maybe that's why they haven't implemented the feature yet,
I'm hoping to see something like this in
kde 4.4 tho :)

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
