Looks interesting but all I get is the background image and the word "Settings".

I have installed the lcars font and do have beautifulsoup and python-kde3 installed.

System is an AMD DualCore X2 T58 Processor on an Acer 17 inch 1440x900 laptop.

I only see the LCARS box

I am running Kubuntu Hardy Heron and I installed the LCARS theme from KDE's desktop theme installer and all I see is the LCARS box but there are no letters on it. I installed the LCARS font separately, from Konqueror and I made it systemwide, and I also have beautifulsoupd installed.

 working now

I did not see there was an additional font I had to install, the Federation font. I installed it and restarted KDE (3.5.9) and it is working now.

I have KDE 4.1 installed but I mostly use 3.5.9

Federation font is a extra. Is not necessary for LCARS. I don't know if LCARS run in KDE 4.1.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
