This isn't a static wallpaper, in fact, if you are connected to internet it downloads the cloud and day/night maps to overlay the world one.

Simply copy the script in your ~/bin/ (don't forget to make it executable), rename it as "worldclockpro" and add :

worldclockpro %xx%y %f

in the "command" and "Preview Command" fields in the "Advanced Option" window of the "Wallpaper configuration" one. As shown in the Screenshot.
There is a Script optimized for 1024x768 and lower, and another one Optimized for 2048x1536 and lower, if you want an higher resolution optimization, just post a comment, and I'll provide it as soon as possible!

NOTE: This script require ImageMagick, so please don't report a bug if you haven't ImageMagick installed! :P

P.S.: Tnx to Google Earth and DayLightMap.com for the content!

- Clouds aspect fix in the night area
- Bug Fix (Prevent white wallpapers in some cases)... was only one char! Damn'it!
- Resolution Optimization (2048x1536 or lower)
- Size Optimization (using jpg instead png)
- Some other fix! LOL
- Some fix!

(For 2048x1536 and Lower)
(For 2048x1536 and Lower (589KB) Mirror)
(For 1024x768 and Lower (158KB))

The KDE Advanced Desktop call the script with %x and %y as the width and the height of the screen resolution and %f as the file to store the image that will be displayed as wallpaper.
So: if we have 1024x768 as resolution, %xx%y = 1024x768 ! That's it!

I'll provide the 1680x1050 resolution version as soon as possible! ;D

It's only a script ...
The first 81 lines are bash...
The rest is an image...

To have this to work in KDE 4 (kubuntu 13.04) you need to install worldclockpro (the highest resolution) in your /bin and make it executable.

Next install ImageMagick and KDEplasma-addons
Right clickon the desktop-desktop settings

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
