Hi. Thanks for reporting this. This problem seems to be related with the Taskmanager library. I was unable to reproduce this behavior with Inkscape. Could you please check if it's still behaving like this with this new release?
Regards.

 Arch Linux package link

 by bram85 on: Jun 29 2010

Recently the package for Arch Linux was renamed and has a new URL: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=31392

The website should be updated, it still points to the old URL.

 Cover Windows

by thalesimg on: Jul 6 2010

Is there a way to auto-hide the dock and then when "ask" the dock to show it shows covering windows?
Like I have a maximized window, then I want to see Daisy.

Hi there,

Currently that option isn't available. To achieve this, Daisy would have to be inside a panel-like container, so it would be able to behave as a panel. Currently Daisy is a regular widget.

A new version is being worked on, using a panel-like container that will provide a better user experience.

Regards.

Thank you for the reply.
By the way, I started to test KDE 4.5 today, and daisy does not work on it. Have you seen it? Do you know when it will be fixed?

No, not in this version. Lechio wrote: "A new version is being worked on, using a panel-like container that will provide a better user experience." To use daisy as a Panel we have to wait.

 strange effect

by janet on: Jul 10 2010

When I use daisy 0.0.4.23 on lucid on my 1280x800 display which is full of other widgets all other widgets on the desktop are moving up on the desktop. When I remove daisy before I leave KDE they go back to their normal position.

It only happens on activities which don't have enough free space left for the round daisy. But there is enough space for a daisy sidebar. Nonetheless my layout breaks, the other widgets don't move to normal position after I changed daisy's layout to sidebar. And after a re-login the layout of the widgets is even more muddled, widgets now partly overlap each other and they don't have the same alignment from the top of the screen anymore. I have to remove daisy and reposition the widgets manually.

Screenshot before the use of daisy:

Screenshot after the use of daisy:
http://www.fotos-hochladen.net/20100710afteruse9ng67mva.jpg

How can avoid that?
