Description:

A nice, easy-to-look-at theme for beryl: emerald blue. Not completely blue - hence the "emerald". Couple of screenshots showing active, inactive, and shaded settings.

Instructions:
- untar the file (tar -xzvf blueglass-emerald.tar.gz)
- import the "blueglass-emerald.emerald" file using the beryl theme manager.
- ** optional **: to activate the profile (fading windows, etc), import "blueglass-emerald.profile" using the beryl settings manager.

Additionally recommended for the theme:

- installed font: Luxi Sans Bold

- icons: Dropline Etiquette (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=27399)

- GTK2 Theme: Clearlooks Cairo Glider

- Wallpaper: http://www.fedoraforum.org/gallery/showimage.php?i=2306

Comments welcome.

Enjoy

Changelog:

- added beryl settings profile to match the theme.
- tweaked some settings in the theme
- changed a screenshot
- changed license to artistic 2 since the buttons are not mine.

Greets! Glad you like the theme. The GTK theme is Clearlooks-Cairo_Glider with the Drop Etiquette icon theme as noted above.

At risk of sounding like a total moron, how do you import the profile (I have imported the theme just fine; I just can't tell if the profile has been imported)? Does it work the same way as the theme itself?

Sorry if this seems imbecilic.

Sorry, misread your question. The Clearlooks Cairo Glider theme is part of the GTK2 engine (v.2.7 and up) which can be found at gnome.org - I'm using gtk2-engine v.2.8.0 found here. (ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gtk-engines/2.8)

Hello,

Sorry for the *late* reply. Using beryl, just import the .profile file included in the package - should instantly be included with other beryl profiles.

Thanks for the heads up on the broken link.

It is available http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/2035/70originalzp0.jpg in 1600x1200 (downsizes very nicely)

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
