BlueSteel Color Scheme
zoom

Downloads:  223
Submitted:  Oct 12 2013
Updated:  May 29 2014

Description:

This color scheme goes with "BlueSteel, a QtCurve Style" also here on kde-look.org.

The easiest way to get "BlueSteel Color Scheme" is to go to KDE System Settings/Application Appearance/Colors/Scheme Tab then click the [GET NEW SCHEMES] button". Search for "BlueSteel" and install it.

Then download "BlueSteel, a QtCurve Style" to make this look as intended.

 Why 2 entries?

Everyone else packages their qtcurve/colour scheme together. Separate entries just cause clutter. And why would I download this without seeing a screenshot?

I apologize for not being done but I didn't expect anyone to download it until I had screenshots posted.
That is a great suggestion about combining both on the same page! What would be the proper way to do that?
Getting these posted here has been a work in progress for the past week. I couldn't get my color scheme uploaded until yesterday because I couldn't login to openDesktop.org from my KDE System Settings/Colors. It still will not let me login. Just tried it again...no joy! I had some time to mess with it yesterday and I figured out how to find my color scheme file and compress it then upload it. I haven't had time to do it all at once.
But I think it is a nice theme that is worth the effort to share it with other people.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
