Yakuake get background from Konsole, therefore if you want to have a transparent or black background you must change settings of schemes of your Konsole and choose correct scheme in Yakuake: RMB_on_Yakuake_background->Settings->Schema->choose_your favourite_schema

I installed in on my openSUSE LINUX notebook. I logged in as root initially to set up my user path defaults as root. I installed the Yakuake as root, in the root account, and set up the transparent backgrounds ... worked like a change.!

Now, I'm excited about using this on my system. I run the app as "me", and configure it up, and when I get to the transparency ... it thinks my system doesn't support it!!

Now the GNome Terminal I use is transparent ... i think something is wrong with a configuration file in my home directory ... not sure where to check.

Ideas guys?

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
