Apple Front Row style splash screen

Apple Front Row style splash screen

Description:

This is my idea for a splash screen for KDE, basing it on Apple's Front Row and creating an elegant and stylish full-screen splash screen. The icons would be rotating in the same way and so showing the active icon at the front. Unfortunately this is only a picture of my idea because I don't know how to make it real.

If anyone likes this idea and has the knowledge and time to develop it, please feel free to "steal" the idea.

The icons are borrowed from the "Breathless" icon theme which can also be found here.

I moved it from the splash screen section here because I think the default splash screen in KDE4 could be fairly similar. All feedback is appreciated.

Yes sorry, this is my first upload so i don't really know how all things work. I've just updated the description twice and didn't notice to uncheck the box for showing it as updated.

Sorry again.

This could go to KDE 4 Brainstorm section because it's very good idea.. What do you think?

Thanks a lot. Yes it could actually be moved there... Does by the way anyone know on what technology this should be based on? I mean it couldn't probably be based on the ordinary kde-splash screen technology, but would it be possible to do it with Moodin?

Perhaps also an other reason for moving it to KDE4 brainstorm because some separate development should probably also have to happen for it to work.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
