Description:

When I managed my music with amarok i suddenly thought of how nice it would be if i could open more playlists at the same time, so i can move the music easy from one playlist to another. To realize it i think tabs would be best.
I think it won't be that fantastic better but at least not quite bad^^
And as i was bored i made a mockup.

I sometimes use Kaffeine just because I can't pause my current playlist and start a new one (sometimes you just need to listen 1 song but want to keep the current playlist without loosing the current position)

That's why I agree that feature would be nice

cheers

I used to use foobar in windows, and that allowed something similar. What I'd mainly like to be able to do is browse my collection in the playlist view while Amarok is playing a different playlist.

Having a contect menu option "Send to playlist..." would be nice. Or just drag and drop onto the tabs.

This is a great idea, submit it to the Amarok wish list.

Sometimes in this age of high technology the best tool is a rock.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
