Description:

An AeroG inspired digital clock, nice and big.

All credit to AdrienV for creating this awesome scheme in the first place. I'm a big fan of digital clocks, so I threw this together.

*please note* you NEED the font Arial Black for this to work well. It is distributed with the MS TTF and is *not* included here.

It looks and works great! I did have to adjust the text position a little bit to get it centered. I used the arial black font from my windows computer's font folder.

Thank you! I suppose it might be a tiny bit too far to the right (it's hard to tell on my hi-res display). I was surprised such a plain clean clock didn't already exist for Karamba -- no offense intended to the author of TubeClock, but I find that a little distracting *shrug* ymmv

Forget what I said about moving anything. After I logged out and back in the new font showed, so I just reinstalled your original config and everything is perfect. I feel like a D. A. Oh well, thanks again.

 Help?

Mind sending me your gimp files for creating the Aero background?

I have the original Aero-sources posted by AdrienV, but I'd like to use your sources to rapidly create some Aero backgrounds in different colors for the clock. I've epanded on your clock and made the theme totally configurable with a clock alarm, user selectable text color, AM/PM display ability, resizable, and hopefuly, with your help background configurable. I need your sources to maintain the original size of the clock. I could hack together my own, but I'm not trying to upstage your original creation, I just want to expand on it a bit.

By the way, I love the 3D effect you created by slightly shitting the duplicate text. At first I asked myself why you had two text lines, then it clicked in my head. That's a great alternativce to the text shadow.

Great theme by the way! I removed my Kicker clock applet after you posted your theme.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
