There's no automatic way to do this (as far as I know) if that's what you're asking. You'd have to copy the icon files manually in order to achieve your goal.

Hi,
at the moment I use SUSE LINUX 9.3 with KDE 3.4. Does someone know, if I can update to KDE 3.5? I like to use some Apps. that only work at KDE 3.5 or highter.
For the moment thank you very much.

Theoretically, you can do it without any problems.

You'll just have to uninstall all of the KDE related packages (all starting with kde* and arts) and install ones with newer versions.

The trickiest part is that newer KDE versions may rely on newer QT version and/or the number of any other software. So, you'll have to figure that out too and update software (which may require newer versions of other software too, keep this in mind).

So, if you're not really confident about figuring out what dependencies kdemultimedia package might have the whole process may be way too time consuming for you and just stressful.

Why Don't you update to Open Suse 10.3
Its free and there have been a lot of improvements since 9.3 also it has its
the latest KDE in its repositories.
Oh, by the way it comes with kde 3.5

 Video Background?

by Hendrick on: Apr 4 2008

I was wondering if there was application that I could install which would give me the ability to play a video (or a list of videos if possible) as my desktop background instead of a single still image?

This is probably the best feature Vista offers, and I haven't been able to find this in any application.

Thanks!

kde-look.org formats sent personal messages in very strange way - examples:

1)

I don't

will be changed to:

I don\'t

2)

"hello there"

will be changed to:

\"hello there\"

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
