Even though I can't help you, here's a little advice: in that 3-step procedure run only make install as root. Don't run make as root.
Of course, if you want to install only for your user, you can run all of them as your user (if you have run configure with proper arguments earlier).

problem = themeengine.h: No such file or directory

find themeengine.h and put it in the right place.

same dir as file that needs it, depending on how it is included

I need some sort of software to convert Windows stuff into Linux source packages. Basically I plan to use my Windows partition's soundcard driver (why does Linux not know what a Sound Blaster is?). Alien doesn't work and I'm using alien version 8 point something something. Please help...

this was hopefully not a troll post.

you cannot "convert" windows software to *nix software.
wine provides a lot of the windows api and allows several (many) windows applications to run on *nix x86 systems.
crossover office is a commercial pendant (with some extra features).
cedega (former wineX) is a (commercial, but you can try code from the cvs - what's not really current, afaics) wine derivate optimized for gaming.

there are few hw drivers utilizing the wine library (mainly ndiswrapper for wlan chips) but not that i'd know of a soundblaster driver.

however: the alsa (and even oss) soundblaster driver is perferct. audigy (2 as well i think) is also supported.
x-fi NOT (while creative promised to release a linux driver for it, when: i don't know. shame on them. no one else can write one, as creative is holding the hw specs back (ok, the tech is advanced, but please: either drivers or specs.))

your distribution should have been able to autodetect your soundcard and load the driver, and/or provide a gui to configure it.
if not: either get a more convenient distribution or see www.alsa-project.orgon how to configure the linux sound system by hand (this means you'll have to read manpages and use an editor, including changes to your system startup scripts)

Seems the item http://www.kde-files.org/content/show.php?content=43502 was generated by a SPAM-bot.
It's _not_ a Kexi script and just links to the online sport book and casino http://www.beteagle.com .
User is http://www.kde-files.org/usermanager/search.php?username=beteagle1
Licence is Proprietary License

So, please remove that item since it's just SPAM. Thanks in advance :)

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
