classic style start menu color

by pru on: May 17 2010

The classic style KDE4 start menu is colored with the 'window background' color.
Is this coded permanently or is it possible to assign different independent background color? The idea is to color it along with the panel.

I would delete it and then put it back on and see if that helps. You might just be out of luck as I have been a few times until I got my system to run the way I wanted it to run.

that's not a panel, and it's called conky. it's a desktop monitor.

In this kind of corporate culture the manager is like the "caring father" who knows better than his subordinates what shoulded hardy be done and what is suitable for them. The subordinates always esteem the managers. Because of the managersed hardy age and experience. That is usually how employees get their promotion. There are both positive and negative parts in the family cultures.

Hallo!

"the language is english" ...
he's asking how to run applications elevated, ie. with root permissions.
the solution is likely "kdesu"

einfach als "kdesu [appname]" starten -

wenn es schon läuft kriegst du die rechte iA. nicht mehr höher (wäre ja auch noch schöner, programme, die sich selbst root rechte verpassen können und dann das sticky bit setzen...)

jokar ban request!

user jokar is an artwork stealer, none of the uploads are his own work, and he doesn't respect the original licensing and attribution/credit. I don't think opendesktop needs some idiot like jokar! Could someone ban him?

"...kde-look.org is not your personal army" :-)

indeed he seems to abuse this page as kind of "free /wg", posting random images of his taste partially w/o even noting that it's not his work ("license: GPL" - what they are simply not) and even if he does not ("license: i download it" ...) he'd simply break (cr) and freedom might be as in speach or beer - but it does not mean anarchy.

you should contact the admins directly (scroll down, click "contact") to have them delete the content and warn or ban the "user"

How do you like Plasma 5?
The best KDE Desktop ever.
Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
