 E-Mail-Archiving?

by Bagration on: May 19 2008

Score 50%

As far as I know there doesn't exist software for archiving E-Mails. O.K. you may keep your E-Mails in KDIR in KMail or in mbox-formats in Firefox.

But if you want to keep your activ E-Mail-directories lean and don't want to throw old e-mails away you need a way for archiving them.

I had the idea to convert them in xml with xslt-stylesheet. I have found a program for Windows, mbox2xml, which is buggy and still rudimentary.
Another idea ist, that you could convert emails in printable form via latex.

Now my question: would anybody like to join such a project for a new KDE-Application?

To be paranoid doesn't mean that they don't want to get you.

Already talked about it. So have a look around here and it is not really a constructive critic. >;->

 Where's my KGrubEditor?

I find this to be a particularly convoluted board. But then again, maybe I've been mixing the meds again.

I just installed KGrubEditor through a Kubuntu 8.04 repository. If apparently went find, but do you think I can find the application? Help!

(I have a dual boot Windoze XP and Kubuntu, but I want to change the default of the op sys.

 Scribus Template??

I came here from "scribus.net" (http://www.scribus.net/?q=node/119) to find some Scribus templates. The link given (http://kde-files.org/index.php?xcontentmode=642) seems not working. When I click on "more" there comes a message "Content not found" Any ideas why? Where can I find Scribus Templates?

xy resoutions of the same wall

To all those who post wallpapers,
why don't you make xy resolutions and add to .tar.gz (or something,... some archive) and publish one post?
When I come to kde-look.com I see the entire page with 7,8 same wallpapers.
I don't say "don't post wallpapers" but publish one post with xy resolutions of the same wallpapers.
I don't mean nothing bad with this post,
and sorry for my english :-)

All best

 Email Fill with Group Comments

My email is being filled with group comments, and each time someone posts in a group that I'm in, I have to unsubscribe. That's annoying. Is there any way I could set it to have the notifications disabled from all the groups that I'm in?

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
